Lee Hin Shin Winsome holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and another Masters degree in Forensic Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Leicester. In Feburary 2017, she worked as a visiting forensic anthropologist for the National Police of Timor-Leste, where she was responsible for examining unidentified skeletal remains. She works for various organizations, from humanitarian NGO to law enforcement agencies, on she conducted research in Poland on biological archaeology, forensic anthropology and forensic archaeology, as well as becoming a project advisor in Cyprus. Since 2017, she has partnered with a private DVI company on working on disaster relief and response. . She has published in total of 5 books in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Translated version of some has been released in other Asian countries in 2020.
